Toprak Razgatlioglu will be joined by experienced Crew Chief Phil Marron in making the switch to ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK for the 2024 WorldSBK season.

The 2021 WorldSBK Champion makes his high-profile switch to the German manufacturer after four seasons with Yamaha, a tenure that - ahead of his final event with the Crescent Racing-run squad -  has netted 37 victories to date.

Marron, who has a long history working with a variety of riders in the English-based team including Eugene Laverty and Alex Lowes, will join Razgatlioglu in venturing to pastures new for the 2024 season, a potentially pivotal acquisition to bring him up to speed on the BMW M 1000 RR package.

Razgatlioglu is one of several shuffles that will occur in WorldSBK during the upcoming winter break, his move to BMW having prompted Jonathan Rea to take over his seat Yamaha, while Axel Bassani has been confirmed at the Kawasaki Racing Team.

The Turkish rider remains in contention for the 2023 WorldSBK title, though arrives at the upcoming finale in Jerez 60 points shy of Alvaro Bautista with a maximum of 62 points available from the three races
