'We are working to create something beautiful' - Andrea Iannone discusses his World Superbike future

Gold & Goose

Andrea Iannone is working to 'create something beautiful and important' for the 2026 World Superbike Championship.

The 2025 World Superbike Championship may be done and dusted, but off-track work is still underway for Andrea Iannone.

The former Team Pata GoEleven rider was a guest at the "Festival dello Spettacolo" in Milan, where he spoke to a large audience. But after the event, 'The Maniac' stayed and spoke to Sky Sports Italia about his future in the World Superbike paddock.

It is currently unknown what Iannone will do for the 2026 World Superbike Championship after losing his ride at Team GoEleven due to inconsistent performances in 2025. It has since been confirmed by GoEleven that Iannone will be replaced by fellow Italian Lorenzo Baldassarri.

However, the former Grand Prix and Superbike race winner has revealed that he is working on a project of his own to keep him on the Superbike grid for a third season.

"Let's see, we are working, my group is working to create something beautiful and important," Iannone told Sky Sports Italia.

"Which can support me one hundred per cent with a competitive structure. It's a big challenge, and we will see if we are able to achieve what we are looking for.

"We are in the game, and we will see."

Iannone has openly stated in the past that he wants to fight for the World Superbike Championship, and when he was asked if he still has dreams, he stated: "Too many! You should never stop dreaming and having ambitions. I am working to achieve them."
