Triumph Motorcycles will continue to supply its engines to the Moto2 World Championship until 2029 after agreeing a new four-year contract with Dorna.

A deal that ensures Triumph will complete a full decade as the exclusive supplier for Grand Prix racing’s intermediate class, the new contract itself will begin in 2025 and will supersede the current agreement that ends at the end of the 2024 season.

The announcement comes following this season’s debut of the latest evolution of the 765cc triple-cylinder engine that is based on the unit to be found in the new generation Triumph Street Triple 765 RS.

Boasting marginally more power and revs than its predecessor, the engine architecture has won rave reviews for its useability and reliability from teams and riders since it was first introduced in 2019.

Since then, more than 1,000,000km have been racked up on the engine across the entire field.
