At the Italian World Superbike Round, Kevin Schwantz was full of praise for Toprak Razgatlioglu and Nicolo Bulega.
Kevin Schwantz made a surprise appearance in the World Superbike paddock at the Italian round at the Cremona Circuit.
While at the Italian circuit, the Grand Prix World Champion discussed the likes of Toprak Razgatlioglu and Nicolo Bulega making the move from Superbikes to MotoGP.
"In the Superbikes, there are always good races," Schwantz said in an interview with Speedweek.
"I was talking earlier and I said, 'I think the MotoGP has become a little boring, so I came here to see some racing," he joked.
The American explained that he believes the jump to MotoGP from Superbikes in theory should be easier due to the electronics that are used in both Championships.
"The transition from the Superbike to the MotoGP should be easier today," Schwantz explained.
"The electronics that are present on a Superbike are obviously not what the MotoGP bikes have, but I think Superbike riders could get on board right away. Toprak [Razgatlioglu], Nicolo [Bulega], any of them."
Schwantz went on to praise both Toprak Razgatlioglu and Nicolo Bulega. The 60-year-old believes that both riders are at the top of their games and would succeed in MotoGP.
"I'd like to think I'm talented, but Toprak demonstrates he can do anything on a motorcycle," Schwantz stated.
"I used to race on the 500, but he demonstrates abilities in controlling the bikes that are incredible. Bulega is quieter, but both guys are at the top of their game right now.
"Nicolo also used to race in Moto3 and in Moto2, Petrucci won in MotoGP, the World Superbike Championship is full of talent."
