Despite recent difficulties, Bradley Ray is still confident in his Championship hopes heading into the final two rounds of the season.
This weekend is the penultimate round of the 2025 British Superbike Championship, and the 2022 British Superbike Champion, Bradley Ray, arrives at Oulton Park in second place.
The Raceways Yamaha rider has struggled after his extremely positive opening 12 races of the season. Ray now finds himself 31 points behind Kyle Ryde in the standings with six races left of the season.
However, with a points increase at Brands Hatch for the season finale, Ray has not ruled himself out of the title fight and is feeling confident heading to Oulton Park this weekend.
"It was a mixed weekend at Assen. We were fast in Free Practice and Qualifying, so it was disappointing when the rain came for Race 1," Ray said.
"I felt good in the wet but aquaplaned and went down. In Race 2, I had a couple of moments but managed to bring it home in third and gain some valuable points on Kyle. In Race 3, I lost too much time early on, and you can’t afford that in BSB.
"There are still a lot of points to fight for, especially with the increase at Brands Hatch, so it’s not over until it’s over. I’m really looking forward to heading back to Oulton Park, a track I enjoy a lot, and the work we have done since then should put us in a good place.
"We have two rounds to go now, so it’s heating up in the championship fight, but like always I’m going to do my best job and try to win, but most importantly enjoy every lap and every race!"
