Caomhan Canny is set to make his Isle of Man TT debut in 2026, having been a winner at the Manx Grand Prix in 2025.
Donegal rider Canny won the Senior Manx Grand Prix race last year after an injury-hit 2024 season. Last year’s Manx GP also saw Canny become the 35th rider in the event’s history to record a lap time faster than 120mph (his best being a 120.229mph).
Debuting at the TT road races in 2026, Canny will ride for the Scott Racing team in all four solo classes. In the Superbike and Superstock categories he will race an Aprilia RSV4, while in Sportbike it will be an Aprilia RS 660 for the Irishman. In Supersport, Scott Racing will have a Suzuki GSX-R600 for Canny.
“The aim was always the TT,” said Canny. “Winning the Manx Grand Prix was a breakthrough, but the goal has always been to establish myself here and keep improving. There are no expectations.
“Even completing the Senior TT would be a huge achievement. I’m happy to ride at a pace I’m comfortable with and keep learning.”
Scott Racing team manager Trevor Scott added: “Caomhan [Canny] has shown what he’s capable of around the Mountain Course. This is his first TT, but he’s already demonstrated maturity and pace.
“Our role is to provide the structure and support to allow him to progress in all classes.”
The 2026 Isle of Man TT is due to run from 25 May until 6 June with solo races scheduled throughout race week, which begins on 30 May.
