Repsol Honda's Nicky Hayden, a seasoned dirt-track rider, is more than looking forward to the MotoGP race at Indianapolis because he will turning left a lot.
Hayden's injured right heel is getting better slowly and the Kentucky Kid thinks that because the Indianapoliis a left-handed track, it will help him get a good result at a venue situated just three hours from his home.
"For me it’s crazy to be racing a GP three hours from my house. I just wish I was going into it healthy, though going left should be better for my right foot. It’s a good time to go home and get some support from the fans," said the American
“Indy’s going to be a big challenge for everyone. The track layout doesn’t look so spectacular, because it’s inside an oval. But Indy has a long history and a big tradition and they know how to promote a race. I think they’re going put on an awesome event.”
