Karl Harris is hopeful that he will return to the MCE British Superbike series for 2014, and in addition is confident that he will be taking part in roads competition, including the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT.
The Bomber, as he is more commonly known has not signed a contract just yet, but wants to make up for, what he has hailed a ‘disastrous’ year in British Superbikes. The rider was racing for the PR Kawasaki team, and a series of mechanical errors and crashes meant he finished outside the top twenty in the overall standings.
“I haven’t put pen to paper yet but I will probably be back in British Superbikes and concentrating on the roads for the North West and the Isle of Man TT,” said Harris, speaking to bikesportnews.com.
“This year in BSB was an absolute disaster I have had that many mechanicals that words can’t describe how bad it was. I am hoping to be back in Superbikes, if not that then in Superstock, and I just want to get back up there and get some race wins and some podiums.
“There are a few things on the cards but nothing definite just yet, and the roads will sort itself out soon enough and in the next two or three weeks I should get stuff sorted, but I just want to get back on the podiums and that is my aim for next year.”
