Josh Brookes has been voted the BSN MCE British Superbike Rider of the Year in a landslide win. The Australian, who took the championship this season in some style, bagged almost half the votes cast by BSN readers.
Brookes, who moves to World Superbikes next season, with Milwaukee BMW, took 46.88 per cent of the voted polled. James Ellison, who battled back from injury again in 2015, was in second place with 21.48 per cent while Rookie of the Year and Riders’ Cup winner Luke Mossey was third with 9.35 per cent.
Shane Byrne (4.62 per cent) narrowly beat Richard Cooper for fourth place. Cooper took 4.39 per cent of the votes cast.
