British Superbike bosses have finally released the 2009 race schedule and in a break with tradition, Oulton Park will hold the series finale at the end of October.

There are no other great surprises on the calendar, with the Cheshire track  getting its customary two rounds, and Brands Hatch hosting the season opener on April 13.

“We believe that we have the most competitive domestic Superbike championship in the world with the calibre of riders and machines already entered and the new look calendar adds spice, with variation and a range of circuits that fully test the capabilities of all competitors,” said Series Director Stuart Higgs.
