BRANDS BSB: HOYLE BACK IN BSB

SP125 Racing/Mackrory Demolition’s Matthew Hoyle returns to the Relentless 125GP Championship following his Moto GP ride with Team Haojue ending earliery in the year following the team’s decision to take time out to improve their machinery.
After only four rounds of the championship Hoyle was left stranded and his 2009 season looking like it was over.  That was until this weekend following his return to his old team with which he won the 2008 Championship title, reuniting himself literally with the his previous two stroke.  The ride became available following the decision of Lee Costello to leave the 125cc category and move to Senior Superstock.
Hoyle said: “I haven’t ridden since May, I was beginning to get rusty.  It was all down to a safety thing and reliability why the team stopped.  Also it didn’t do my confidence any good, with crashing and breaking down all the time it knocked my down.  The team have a plan for next year, I would like to go back, but it depends on if they renew my contract or not.”
After having a difficult day on Friday Hoyles has been back up at the top of the timing sheets and stirring up the regulars.  After first qualifying he leads the second row less than a second off pole position which he will aim to close in on in tomorrow’s second session.
Hoyles will be riding for the remainder of the British season apart from Cadwell Park due to other race commitments.  This year has turned out not anywhere near what he expected or wanted, but it keeps him on two wheels and will no doubt add some spice to the championship for the spectators of the British category.
Talking about his future he said: “Moto GP is definitely where I want to be, but it also depends on money.  I didn’t really want to come back to BSB as I feel it is going backwards, but I am enjoying it.  I just going to have fun and enjoy it, I will go for the win if I can otherwise I will be helping my teammate.”
