Halsall Racing’s Josh Waters wants to show the fans what he is capable of in the final MCE British Superbike races at Brands Hatch today. The Aussie finished race one in fourth yesterday, and was as high as second and he wants to emulate his fast race pace this afternoon.
This is only Waters second time out with his team, after he parted company with Milwaukee Yamaha, and things have gone well for the former Australian Superbike champ, and whatever the weather conditions bring today he just wants to do well as he would like to stay in the BSB series next year.
“It is great to have another weekend with the team, and it is only my second time in the garage, and it was really good to finish in the top five in the first race. As soon as the track got dry the bike was difficult to ride, but race one was the best result I have had so far in the season," said Waters, speaking to bikesportnews.com from the circuit.
“I really want to be back in BSB next year, as some people have been unhappy with me, and I feel I have let a few people down and I really want another shot at it. I want to do well in the dry too, but whatever the conditions are we can’t change any of that, and I want to have a bit of fun.”
