NB Suzuki's Tommy Bridwell reckons he is out to beat as many factory British Superbikes as he can at the forthcoming Mallory Park round after being overlooked as a replacement rider.
Until Tommy Hill and Steve Brogan were announced as replacement riders for Worx Suzuki and HM Plant Honda yesterday, there were four seats available. Now Jentin Yamaha and NW200 Yamaha are still looking for riders and Bridewell is disappointed he didn't get a call.
"Despite bikes becoming available after Knockhill, I'm disappointed that no one even gave me a call so I've realised that I need to keep putting myself in the shop window and a couple more wins at Mallory will help," said the youngster.
"It's only another circuit and it will suit my bike so there's no reason at all why we can't continue our good run of results and that's the plan. We've got the bike working well and I've got the added incentive of beating those guys who are just coming into BSB on those bikes so rest assured, if anyone thinks I'll be fazed by the place and I'll be holding back they will be sadly mistaken.
"We are going with the sole intention of securing another pair of top ten results, winning both Cup races and beating as many works bikes as possible."
