The 2024 British Superbike Championship (BSB) calendar has been released featuring an overseas event at Circuito de Navarra but no visit to Silverstone.

Announced ahead of this weekend's 2023 BSB season finale at Brands Hatch, the 2024 BSB schedule will once more comprise of three BSB races across 11 rounds.

However, in a major change to proceedings, the Circuito de Navarra in northern Spain will play host to the opening round in April.

A recent acquisition made by BSB promoters MotorSport Vision, the venue - which hosted a round of the 2021 WorldSBK Championship - welcomed several BSB riders for a pre-season test earlier in the year, ahead of it being included on the full racing schedule for 2024

It will become the third overseas venue to feature on the BSB calendar, following Mondello Park in Ireland (2003-2007) and Assen in the Netherlands (2012-2019).

Significantly, it takes the spot held by Silverstone, which has maintained a presence on the schedule in varying configurations throughout the series' history.

The remainder of the calendar is all-but-identical to this year's schedule with Oulton Park and Donington Park hosting two rounds each at either end of the schedule, plus two rounds at Brands Hatch, including the season finale on 11-13 October.

The season will be preceded by two official tests, the first at Donington Park, followed by four days of track time at Navarra just prior to the race weekend. Oulton Park and Cadwell Park will then host in-season tests.
