Danny Buchan will contest the rest of the National Superstock 1000 season with MSS Bathams Kawasaki after splitting with CN Racing after Thruxton.
Buchan left Nick Morgan's team at the end of 2011 for a new adventure with the Ten Kate-backed squad but has found sharing a crew chief with two other riders difficult, so has gone back to Kawasaki and will former World Supersport Champion Andrew Pitt in his corner from Oulton Park onwards.
“The last few weeks haven’t been ideal in the garage and rather than let it drag on we made a decision as quickly as possible. To be fair Julia and the team were very welcoming to me from the very beginning and we have nothing but respect for the owners and their enthusiasm," said Buchan.
Racing can be quite brutal sometimes and we’ve got to do the best we can for results so that’s why we’re going back to Nick and the MSS squad, I cant wait to get back to my old Ninja. It’s all happened really quickly and I’m chuffed that Kawasaki want me back, big thanks to them for sorting me out a bike. Oulton is a track I’ve always done well at and I can’t see why with a quick practice there next week we can’t be back on the pace pretty quickly.”
