CROFT BSB: HOBBS LATEST OPERATION WENT WELL

Following a severe crash at Thruxton at the beginning of the season, British Supersport rider Dennis Hobbs is on the mend.  The operation itself went well and it will not been known for a while if it was a success due to recovery time, but as a true racer Hobbs hopes to be back on a bike next season.
Hobbs was due to compete within the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship riding for Centurion Racing, but his 2008 season was ended abruptly after a crash in the first race.  Following the high speed incident in which another bike hit him from behind Hobbs dislocated his shoulder and suffered nerve damage.
Hobbs said: “My latest operation went well they have replaced a nerve in my shoulder, my deltoid nerve was damaged.  I need to have another operation to remove some bone from shoulder, but all is going well and it is looking like I should be back on the back February/March time.  We will see and it will need to be cleared by the doctors".
The Guisborough rider at present has no confirmed ride for next season, but recently was married and now that he is well on the road to recovery along with his wife is looking forward to their official honeymoon, which had to be delayed due to recovery commitments.
