Tena for Men Honda's Michael Howarth broke his collarbone in a monster highside at Croft British Superbikes yesterday and will now have to see how the healing process goes before he decides on whether to ride at Silverstone.
Howarth, a former rugby league player, was spat off his Fireblade on lap one of the fsecond race. He landed back on the bike and broke the screen before the Honda got away from him and he ended up hobbling away.
"I've snapped my collarbone. It doesn't reallly hurt that much it's just annoying more than anything," said Howarth. "I will have to wait and see how it is before Silverstone. I like the place so I really want to ride."
Howarth's team-mate Tristan Palmer grabbed a pair of 14th places.
