Ruskington racer Rob Frost was unable to capitalise on his strong results in the British Supersport championship on Sunday as the Buff Racing team were unable to have the bike up and running from the crash that befell Frost at Donington Park last weekend in the World Supersport championship.
Frost was taken out by another rider on the first lap when his handlebars were taken from him. The Buff Racing Triumph 675 suffered extensive damage and due to lack of time and resources it was decided to give Croft a miss this weekend.
Frost is hoping to return to action in the penultimate round of the series scheduled for September 28 where he will be hoping for a good result to boost his points tally ahead of the season finale at Brands Hatch on October 14.
