Hydrex Honda's James Ellison has been dogged by setup woes at Croft British Superbikes and will start from row three on the grid in each of tomorrow's two races.
The Cumbrian former MotoGP rider eventually posted 10th quickest time in the 50-minute qualifying session but is confident they can dial in some settings overnight.
"We still haven't got the set-up right. We're not a million miles off but we really need to be up in the top four in qualifying to do the job in the race," said Ellison.
"We're losing quite a bit of time in a few of the sectors so we've got a bit of work to do on the set-up to try and get a good lap together, but we'll get there."
