Metzeler National Superstck 600 title challenger Jake Dixon will step up to the British Supersport Championship next season under the tutelage of ex-BSB man Craig Fitzpatrick.

Dixon, son of legend Darren, made his National Championship debut in 2012 after two years competing in Thundersport. The 16-year-old proved to be a revelation, taking victory in his very first race before topping the podium twice more on his way to a fourth place finish in the championship.

"I am really pleased to have signed this deal with CF Motorsport. I built up a good relationship with Craig [Fitzpatrick] last season and I am looking forward to working with him again in 2013," said Dixon.

"Stepping up to the British Supersport Championship is going to be a challenge but one which I am excited about. I am confident that the package will be competitive and hopefully we will be up there challenging at the front.”
