Ducati Coventry’s Marty Nutt arrives at Silverstone with a 12 point lead in the Ducati TriOptions 848 Challenge as the title chase goes down to the wire this weekend at the Northamptonshire circuit.
Nutt has been consistently on the podium this season and moved ahead of early leader Jonathan Railton but the fight for the title between the pair will go down to the final race of the season this weekend as the Boast Plumbing/Art of Racing bids to regain the top spot when it counts the most.
Stockbridge Racing’s Leon Morris has been a regular podium challenger and has his position secure in third but the resurgent Mike ‘Spike’ Edwards is aiming to build on his double podium last time out at Assen as he became the fifth different race winner.
Dennis Hobbs will be looking to end his season with a podium finish after missing out at Assen as will Darren Fry as he bids for his first podium finish of the year.
