HM Plant Honda’s Steve Plater and current championship leader of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship had a rare crash in the second practice this weekend at Knockhill circuit.
Despite the lowside at the exit of the Scotsman, the third corner after the start/finish straight due to catching his foot peg Plater held his third place from practice one knocking just under half a second off his time.
Plater who took the win and championship lead at the previous round of Snetterton aims to take yet another trophy, preferably the win and start increasing his championship lead as the season progresses.
