Knockhill BSB: Tasker clinches maiden KMSC Superstock 600 podium

Team Tasker’s Sammi Tasker won her first KMSC Superstock 600 podium, during the MCE British Superbike race weekend at Knockhill, where she reached the second step of the rostrum in the final race of the day on Sunday.

The first KMSC race of the weekend was red flagged due to torrential rain and Tasker came in with an eighth place finish. Then on Sunday the sun came out, taking to the track early on Sunday morning Tasker on her pink Suzuki GSXR 600 did one better in race two and finished in fourth.

In race three Tasker came off the line and before the end of the first lap was sitting in second. After dropping back into third place on the last lap of the race Tasker went for it, taking back second in a maneuver at the Hairpin, and coming over the line to take her first podium position since moving up to the 600 Superstock class a year ago. Tasker was delighted with her podium, especially at a British Superbike round.
