Lichfield's Gary Mason will return to the British Superbike paddock this weekend and partner Chris Walker after the Primo Kawasaki team threw him a lifeline today to replace the injured James Hillier.
The former AMA star acrimoniously parted company with the Quattro Kawasaki squad before Knockhill citing contractural difficulties but Primo boss Pete Extance is keen to get another experienced rider on his ZX-10R.
"Gary comes with a good Kawasaki pedigree and will be eager to put right a pretty bad season so far. We as a team are keen to hear Gary's thoughts on the Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki prepared machines. Both Chris and Gary are very capable of top place finishes and with the weather looking sketchy who knows what can happen," said Extance.
