Ten-time British Superbike race winner, Michael Laverty, will enter his MLav Racing Team in the British Superbike paddock.

Ahead of the Moto2 race at the Lusail International Circuit, Michael Laverty announced on TNT Sports that he will run a British Superbike Team this season.

Laverty's Team will field a rider in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.

His British Superbike rider will be the 2023 Superstock Champion, Richard Kerr. In the National Superstock Championship, he will field multiple IDM Superbike Champion Ilya Mikhalchik on a BMW M 1000 RR.

This is the latest team in Michael Laverty's time as a team owner and will join up with his currently existing teams in the Moto3 World Championship, JuniorGP World Championship, European Talent Cup, and the R&G British Talent Cup.

Laverty's MLav Racing Team will also be at the 2025 Isle of Man TT as he announced that Ian Hutchinson and Mike Browne will enter the event on BMW M 1000 RR's.
