O'HALLORAN BREAKS WRIST ENDING HIS SEASON

Linxcel-Seton  Tuning’s Jason O’Halloran fractured his right wrist in a crash in first qualifying at Croft in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport category ending is 2009 season and ruining his debut weekend with the team.
Seton said: “Jason is a really nice guy and the team were really chuffed to have such a friendly and polite rider heading the Supersport effort. He was a pleasure to get along with and we could see he appreciated every effort the team had mad to develop the bike to the level of performance it offers.  It was a massive blow for both Jason and the team.  I would like to extend my thanks to Jason for his efforts this weekend. We all wish him a speedy recovery.”
Not to waste the effort in attending Croft team manager Phil Seton got in the seat to qualify and take his place on the grid in Sunday's race, but the unfortunate luck continued. Seton said: “After much deliberation I decided to get on the grid. I had to achieve a time better than my personal best set over a year ago in order to qualify. So I gave it a shot and absolutely annihilated it to get on the grid in last place.”
“During Sunday morning’s warm-up session the bike was lightning quick and we put in some good times and performed really well through the speed traps. In the race I left the line to start the warm-up lap and peeled into the first corner without a problem. Also turn two wasn’t a drama then as I turned the bike left through Chicane the back let go in a big way then gripped resulting in a massive high side.”

Team member Nick Clark also had to retire from the Metzeler National Superstock 600cc race due to his machine developing a misfire but on a more positive note team mate Josh Wainwright crossed the finish line in 17th.
Seton said: “It’s fair to say this weekend hasn’t been easy, and I just want to say a massive thanks to the team, the sponsors and all our supporters. I feel privileged to be part of such a great community.”
