Gearlink Kawasaki's Luke Hedger secured back-to-back Pirelli National Superstock 600 victories at Oulton Park this weekend.
The reigning Motostar champion looked to be under threat from championship leader Jordan Simpkin throughout the race but the Yamaha rider broke down on the last corner, managing to push the bike home to take fourth place and hang on to his championship lead. Hedger's sixth consecutive podium means he is now four points behind Simpkin.
CF Motorsport's Callan Cooper took his second consecutive second place in remarkable circumstances as the Manxman only just made the grid. His team had to rebuild his bike after a massive crash in morning warm-up. Haribo's Joe Collier took third place as he looks to rebuild his title fight with crashes mid-season putting a dent in his championship aspirations.
Moto-Breaker's James Lodge came home in fifth after fading backwards at half race distance, reaching the chequered flag ahead of Mason Law and Grant Whitaker. There was a real battle for the final top ten places with Ben Godfrey coming through ahead of Harry Hartley and Nick Anderson to take eighth.
