Qualifying three
Tommy Hill 1'35.606
Shane Byrne 1'36.112
Josh Brookes 1'36.154
Swan Yamaha's Tommy Hill has taken pole position for tomorrow's British Superbike double-header at Oulton Park tomorrow, lapping half a second faster than Shane Byrne and Josh Brookes, and he was the only man able to go under the 1'36s barrier in the whole qualifying session.
Hill was in charge for the entire period with the Kawasaki and Suzuki men chasing but Noriyuki Haga hauled his way into fourth place and completed the front row. The Japanese legend is only 0.051s behind Aussie Brookes and two-tenths ahead of fifth-placed man Tommy Bridewell.
Alex Lowes was a second in arrears but managed sixth place with Jon Kirkham next to him. Michael Laverty pulled himself up a row with his last lap, demoting series leader Ian Lowry and Primo Kawasaki man Chris Walker to ninth and tenth.
Qualifying two
Tommy Hill 1'35.854
Josh Brookes 1'36.201
Shane Byrne 1'36.452
Lowes left it until his final laps to get into the top ten and Buildbase BMW's Dan Linfoot, who put himself tenth with only a minute to go, found himself bounced into the relegation zone, just behind Bridewell but the quick last laps also saw the demise of Stuart Easton and Michael Rutter.
Hill was fully in control and the only man to break the 1'36s barrier with Brookes just behind while Byrne only had one fast lap to get into the next level, hauling himself from 11th up to third and just in front of veteran Walker, who is enjoying these new rules. Brookes' team-mate Alastair Seeley crashed out unhurt.

Qualifying one
Tommy Hill 1'36.060
Alex Lowes 1'36.438
Josh Brookes 1'36.577
Byrne set the early pace in session one with Brookes and Michael Laverty in tow but it only took Hill a couple of minutes to find his rhythm as Easton came up to fourth. Lowes bounced in to second place soon after while Seeley also put in a solid lap to take third but slid down the order to fourth.
As the minutes clicked down, Brookes upped his pace but couldn't find a way past the Lincolnshire man while Gowland deposed Byrne for sixth and Michael Laverty went down to seventh. Bridewell was also fast early on but then slid into eighth.
Rutter was sitting on the edge of the relegation zone until his last run saw him nip up to 11th place which put his team-mate Peter Hickman in 20th and the last of the riders to go through into second qualifying. None of the Ducati Panigales made it with Scott Smart the fastest in 25th
