Reigning BSB champ Hill 'not giving up yet'

Reigning MCE British Superbike Champion Tommy Hill faces an uphill battle to retain his number one plate going into this weekend's penultimate round at Silverstone after a disastrous weekend at Assen saw him drop to 22 points behind leader Josh Brookes.

But the Swan Yamaha man is not giving up easily and intends to fight right until the chequered flag in race two at Brands Hatch in two weeks' time, saying it is everyone's title to lose.

"We had a disappointing start to the Showdown and our title defence but it also shows how quickly the championship can turn around. As the saying goes ?it is all for us to gain and everyone else?s to lose? at Silverstone and nothing but wins will do from now until the last race of the season at Brands Hatch. We are on the back foot but it can all change so quickly and we won'?t be giving up yet," said the Surrey carp botherer.
