Qualifying three
Bradley Ray – 53.864
Jake Dixon – 54.022
Glenn Irwin – 54.233
Brad Ray backed up his Cadwell pole position with another top qualifying performance this afternoon at Silverstone as he dominated the session.
The Buildbase Suzuki rider was once again the only one able to clock a 53s lap as he heads Jake Dixon and Glenn Irwin on the front row for this afternoon’s first race.
First man on track Josh Brookes led the order with an early 55, but Ray was quick top drop his time with a 54.001s before setting a 53.864 on just his third lap and, as with yesterday, becoming the only man to break into the 53s.
Dixon slotted in behind with a 54.022 moments after leaving crowds with jaws agape, saving a massive moment at Copse, but he pulled off into the grass before the flag with a problem.
Be Wiser Ducati’s Glenn Irwin clocked a late 54.233 to grab the final front fow spot, while McAMS Yamaha’s duo of Taz Mackenzie and Brookes joined sixth-placed Leon Haslam on row two after the Aussie’s R1 looked to be coughing smoke.
JG Speedfit Kawasaki’s Luke Mossey heads up the third row ahead of Richard Cooper and Honda Racing’s Jason O’Halloran.
Qualifying two
Bradley Ray – 54.352
Jason O’Halloran – 54.677
Jake Dixon – 54.682
Haslam came out of the gates fighting as he topped the session with his first flying lap as times continued to tumble, but Ray and Dixon eventually took over, the latter setting a 55.020.
After completing just two laps, however, Michael Laverty’s chain snapped and put paid to his session.
Ray was the first rider of the day back into the 54s mark most riders found on Friday, clocking a 54.876 before O’Halloran beat him to the top spot with a 54.776 just ahead of Haslam’s 54.860.
The fight for P1 wasn’t over, however, as Dixon went quickest before Mackenzie followed him into P2 just 0.075s behind.
While Ray stormed ahead with a 54.352, Christian Iddon threw away any hopes of advancement with a crash at Luffield just moments before Smith’s Racing man Peter Hickman binned his last effort as he ran off track following a mistake.

Glenn Irwin topped the times early on with a 59.190, leaving everyone else nearly half a second behind as riders found their feet on a drying line.
His brother Andrew slotted in behind with just over 10 minutes remaining, but Glenn was shoved back a place by Cooper moments later as the diminutive Suzuki rider went quickest before Iddon was the first to break the 59s barrier today with a 58.740.
Frenchman Barrier shocked with a jump up to second with a few minutes remaining, while Bridewell bagged a comfortable place in Q2 and briefly leading before Linfoot took the top spot, only for Barrier to snatch it moments later.
It was a frantic fight after the chequered flag as most of the heavy-hitters made it through to the second qualifying session, but Fs-3 Racing Kawasaki’s Danny Buchan was left languishing in 23rd, booted from Q2 while Glenn Irwin scraped through in 18th.
