Silverstone first hosted a BSB round in 1998 with the race wins going to James Haydon and Troy Bayliss. It has now hosted a total of 41 BSB races.
In that time there have been 21 different race winners and 34different riders stand on the podium.
Jason O’Halloran will make his 100th BSB race start in the first race at Silverstone this weekend.
Leon Haslam remains the only rider to have scored points in every race so far in the 2018 season.
Haslam has now taken 40 BSB race wins in total to move into third overall in the all-time list, just one win ahead of Josh Brookes.
Haslam has now taken 94 BSB podiums, the same number as former Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari.
Ryuichi Kiyonari has recorded the most wins at Silverstone with 6 followed by Josh Brookes (4), Troy Bayliss, Shane Byrne, Michael Rutter and Alex Lowes (all 3) and John Reynolds, Steve Hislop, Leon Camier and James Ellison (all 2).
Both Glenn Irwin and Dan Linfoot scored their maiden BSB wins at Silverstone in 2017.
The double has been done at Silverstone on just five occasions - Troy Bayliss (1999), Ryuichi Kiyonari (2006 & 2007), Alex Lowes (2012) and Josh Brookes (2015).
Byrne has taken the most podiums (14) followed by Brookes (11), Kiyonari (10), Reynolds (9), Rutter and Michael Laverty (both 6) and Hislop, Chris Walker and Gregorio Lavilla (all 5).
Silverstone hosted a triple header in 2017 with Josh Brookes scoring the most points (45), followed by Jake Dixon (36), Bradley Ray (26), Dan Linfoot and Glenn Irwin (both 25), John Hopkins and Jakub Smrz (both 22) and Michael Laverty (21).
Leon Haslam failed to score a point in any of the three races in 2017.
Jakub Smrz scored his best ever BSB result at Silverstone in 2017, finishing fifth.
Michael Laverty has taken podiums at Silverstone on Suzuki, Honda and BMW machinery. His only podium in 2017 came at Silverstone.
Ducati is the most successful manufacturer at Silverstone with 14 wins followed by Honda (12), Suzuki (5), Yamaha (5), Kawasaki (3) and BMW (2).
The victories in 2017 were taken by Ducati (Glenn Irwin), Honda (Dan Linfoot) and Yamaha (Josh Brookes).
BMW’s last win was in 2016 with Michael Laverty.
Kawasaki last won in 2016 with Peter Hickman.
Suzuki last won in 2011 when both John Hopkins and Brookes were victorious.
