Snetterton BSB: Improving Waters makes ‘step in the right direction’

Milwaukee Yamaha’s Josh Waters had his best round of the MCE British Superbike season to date with a ninth place in race one which he followed up with another solid performance to finish seventh and the rider now feels that he is finally making a step in the right direction.

The Aussie is now happy that his bike is working as it should, and has come back from the last round at Knockhill a stronger rider, physically and mentally. His team have worked hard on improving the bike, from the disastrous last round and Waters now has the added confidence to improve even more.

“It is a lot better, it’s no podium or top five but it is two solid top tens. The second race was a lot better. I am making the step in the right direction, just look at Knockhill. We have changed little bits and pieces on the bike, and we are understanding each other and I have been sorting myself out. The circuit was enjoyable, and the weather was like a good winter’s day at home, so that was cool too,” said Waters, speaking to bikesportnews.com from the circuit.
