Honda Racing’s Factory Dan Linfoot bolted together a pair of race simulation runs on day two of BSB testing at Monteblanco and says he found good consistency with both hard and soft tyres.
The Yorkshireman also carried out further work on engine braking strategies, something he was concerned with at the first Spain test a couple of weeks ago.
“It’s been a really productive day we’ve done two race simulations this afternoon, one with a hard tyre and the other with a soft and found a good consistency throughout the run,” said Linfoot.
“We’ve worked on the engine braking strategy to confirm what we did yesterday was a positive and found a better feeling with the front folks. Today has been about consistency, we’ve not focused too much on lap times just consistency and getting it right.”
