British Supersport star James Westmore has jumped ship from the Centurion Honda team for the 2009 season and will partner Lee Jackson in NCT Yamaha squad.

Westmoreland, who finished fourth in this year's title chase, was expected to remain with Paul Rees' team for next year. Team-mate Jackson is a veteran rider who has ridden in all classes. He will no doubt be looking forward to going back to Supersport.

NCT team boss Neil Haslam said: "I am over the moon with the rider line up for 2009. In Lee we have the consumate professional who brings a wealth of experience to the team and in James we have the brightest young prospect in the UK. I think the package we now have gives us an excellent chance of fighting for the top honours in the championship in our first year in Supersport."
