INCompetition Aprilia has announced its rider line-up for both the Superstock and Sportbike championships within the BSB paddock for the 2026 season, with one rider per category.
In the Superstock class, 22-year-old Jack Bednarek will ride the team’s RSV4 1100, following a BSB Superstock season in 2025 that saw him finish 15th overall and take a best finish of fifth aboard a Honda Fireblade.
“I’m really looking forward to working with Ian and the team in 2026,” said Bednarek.
“I believe as a team we can achieve top positions after showing some good potential in 2025 despite missing a handful of rounds due to injury.
“I think now with the experience I have gained and the team around me there is no reason why we should not be fighting up at the sharp end. I will be giving it my all and taking this great opportunity with both hands.
“I can’t wait to get testing underway and understand the characteristics of the V4, I’d like to thank everyone involved for this amazing ride.”
In the Sportbike class, the team will field 17-year-old Alfie Davidson aboard an RS 660. Davidson finished fifth overall in the 2025 National Sportbike Championship with the Sencat by Swan Racing team.
“I’m really excited to join the INCompetition Aprilia team for the 2026 season on the Aprilia RS660,” Davidson said.
“I can’t thank Ian [Newton] and Myra enough for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what we can do with the experience of the team and the strong package I have.
“My goals for 2026 are to consistently fight for the podium and win races, which I believe we can do as a team.”
For team owner Ian Newton, a distinctively young line-up is one that clearly brings enthusiasm for the 2026 season.
“It’s such a fantastic chance to develop two young and eager riders in their selected classes,” Newton said.
“Jack [Bednarek] has consistently improved over the last couple of years and with a good team around him we are sure he will develop as a rider and get some strong results this season.
“Alfie [Davidson] has also shown what he can do and despite the class being very competitive we are sure with INCompetition around him he will be fighting for podiums throughout the season.
“There is no pressure on either but with a good team structure and base we know we can give them the tools to do well.”
