Former British Talent Cup rider Carter Brown has been signed by Binch Racing to compete in BSB Supersport in 2026.
Brown first competed in BSB's Supersport class in 2023 after several seasons in the British Talent Cup, which included two runner-up finishes.
The 2023 season saw a one-off appearance at Thruxton, but he contested the majority of the 2024 season and took his first podium in the class that year with a second place in the final round at Brands Hatch.
Aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R in 2025, Brown failed to add to his podium tally, but he has been picked up by Binch Racing for 2026, replacing the BSB-bound Joe Talbot, and will ride a Panigale V2 for the first time this year.
“I am absolutely buzzing to be joining Binch Racing for the 2026 season,” said Brown.
“After a few years of learning the ropes in the Supersport class, I feel like I’ve found the perfect place to take that next big step in my career.
“From my first conversations with David Binch, it was clear that we share the same vision. The team’s track record for developing young talent is second to none, and seeing how much they invest in their riders, both on and off the track, made this an easy decision for me.
“I’ve had a great couple of years getting to this point, but now it’s time to push for more. The goal for 2026 is clear – I want to be at the front, fighting for podiums and putting the Binch Ducati in the title mix.
“I’m already training hard and can’t wait to get my leg over the V2 for our first test.”
Team owner, David Binch, added: “We have won races and enjoyed multiple podiums with Ducati so to continue our relationship into 2026 in the British Supersport Championship is really exciting.
“The data we gathered last year during our rookie season on the Ducatis is the perfect foundation for our 2026 campaign. This coupled with our pre-season tests have revealed even more potential we can exploit.
“However, I have learnt from my past mistakes that putting too much pressure on our young riders’ shoulders for instant results is not the best way to achieve success.
“I have to remind myself the team have the experience, both our riders have endless talent, all this combined with our hardworking ethic, top machinery and amazing partners provides the ingredients for success in 2026.
“The biggest challenge our team faces in 2026 is me being patient, we all have our weaknesses and not having enough patience is one of mine! We can’t wait for the season to start.”
