Dan Linfoot took his second Pirelli National Superstock Championship win of the weekend at Knockhill on Sunday afternoon with the Optimum Bikes Honda rider again putting in a dominant performance.
Linfoot took the lead going into turn one at the start of the fourth lap and after a four-lap safety car period, he rapidly pulled away from the chasing pack when full racing conditions resumed.
Lapping consistently quicker than the rest of the field, he eventually won by 4.6s with Richard Kerr again in second.
The AMD Motorsport Honda rider grabbed the holeshot and led for the first three laps before Linfoot overhauled him, but he took his second runners-up spot of the weekend to consolidate second place in the championship, the gap to Linfoot now 14 points.
It was Alastair Seeley (Synetiq BMW) who completed the podium in third, just over a second behind Kerr, and with Alex Olsen and Lewis Rollo coming together just before half race distance, Billy McConnell came through for fourth ahead of Franco Bourne and Luke Hedger, the latter the first Kawasaki home.
Brent Harran, Joe Talbot – who dropped back from fourth after suffering a major moment with two laps to go – Brayden Elliott and Joe Francis completed the top ten.
