Lap times from the qualifying session at the 2026 Moto2 Thai Grand Prix at the Buriram International Circuit.

Senna Agius secured pole position in qualifying at the Thai Moto2 race, beating Izan Guevara by 0.028 seconds as the Pramac rider split to Kalexes in the top-three, which was rounded out by 2025 rookie of the year Dani Holgado.

Ivan Ortola took fourth place ahead of Celestino Vietti, the second Boscoscuro in the top-six after Guevara, and Collin Veijer.

Manuel Gonzalez was seventh, ahead of Filip Salac and Mario Aji; while David Alonso completed the qualifying top-10 having come through Q1 to line up alongside rookie Angel Piqueras, and Ayumu Sasaki.

There was a crash towards the end of Q2 for Alex Escrig, who didn't set a time. He took Sergio Garcia with him, the Gresini rider finishing the session 16th.

Adrian Huertas didn't take part in qualifying after being declared unfit on Friday following a crash in Practice that resulted in foot fractures.

Dani Holgado topped the final session before qualifying in Buriram for Moto2, finishing less than 0.01 seconds ahead of Izan Guevara on the leading Boscoscuro chassis. Just a tenth behind Guevara was Senna Agius who rounded out the top-three, while David Alonso was fourth, despite a crash at turn eight, and the last of the riders in the 1:34s.

Barry Baltus rounded out the top-five ahead of Collin Veijer, Alex Escrig, Ivan Ortola, Celestino Vietti, and Manuel Gonzalez who pitted multiple times in the 30-minute session and seemed to be working his way through an issue.
