Results from the Sprint at the 2026 MotoGP Dutch Grand Prix at the TT Circuit Assen.
Raul Fernandez took his second Sprint win of the season at Assen, beating Ai Ogura. It was a first 1-2 in any format for Trackhouse, with both riders cutting through the front of the pack in the middle of the race, with Ogura ultimately just coming up short of being able to challenge his teammate after passing Fabio Di Giannantonio for second.
Di Giannantonio was under pressure from Marco Bezzecchi for third after the Ogura pass, but he held on to the final podium position.
Bezzecchi had started well, but like in Italy he brakes too early for the first corner and dropped back to fourth. Then he ran wide at turn nine on the first lap and dropped to fifth. It wasn't until Jorge Martin, who had led the opening laps, started to drop back in the middle of the race that Bezzecchi started going forwards. He took fourth from Martin, who put up some resistance but to ultimately no avail, at turn nine on lap seven and then set about catching the leaders, but ultimately couldn't get there.
Martin came under pressure from Francesco Bagnaia - who earlier had got the better of Marc Marquez for sixth - towards the end. Bagnaia got a run on Martin on the exit of the final chicane on the last lap, but couldn't beat him to the line. The Italian also touched the green on the exit of the chicane, which earned him a one position penalty and promoted Marquez back to sixth.
Enea Bastianini was in the battle with Marquez and Bagnaia throughout, but could not make a pass and took eighth. Pedro Acosta was ninth after running wide at turn seven and dropping to 14th early on.
Fabio Quartararo completed the top-10.

Qualifying
Jorge Martin took pole position at Assen as Aprilia locked out the top four positions with Ai Ogura, Marco Bezzecchi, and Raul Fernandez behind him.
Francesco Bagnaia was the leading non-Ducati in fifth ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio. Marc Marquez will start from the third row in seventh alongside Pedro Acosta and Fabio Quartararo who came through Q1.
Joan Mir also came through Q1 and ended up 10th ahead of Enea Bastianini and Alex Marquez, the latter not setting a time in Q2 as he manages his physical condition.
