Aprilia are 'absolutely not' considering changing their rider lineup for 2024

At the Aprilia All Star Event in Misano Aprilia CEO, Massimo Rivola, stated that Aprilia do not intend on changing their MotoGP lineup for next season.

Aprilia added a new satellite team to their roster for the 2023 season increasing their rider lineup from two to four. It appears that all four of the riders that the Italian manufacturer has will most likely stay put next season after a competitive start to the season for Aprilia.

The Noale manufacturer is yet to win a race this season but their 'captain', Aleix Espargaro, Maverick Vinales and Miguel Oliveira have all shown huge promise on the RS-GP so far this season. But race winning success does not look too far away.

After speaking to MotoGP.com at Misano the Aprilia CEO, Massimo Rivola, has stated that Aprilia do not wish to change their riders next year.

Rivola had this to say about if Aprilia would be changing their lineup next season: "Absolutely not! I fully trust these four riders. We also have Lorenzo (Savadori) to replace or if there are sometimes some injuries. I’m very happy (with the riders we have).

"Also, from a contractual point of view we are fixed for the next two years (until the end of 2024) and hopefully more.

"I’m really convinced that maybe we have the best line-up of four riders in the paddock."

Rivola also touched on the fact that Aprilia are yet to get a race victory so far in 2023: "Aleix and Maverick are in good shape so I’m very confident that Mugello will be the real start of our championship.

"So far we showed good speed but didn’t get the results. Luckily the championship is very long so we have time to recover."
