Marco Bezzecchi's win at Silverstone was a big boost for Massimo Rivola and Aprilia Racing.

The British Grand Prix marked Aprilia Racing's first win of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship as Marco Bezzecchi was victorious at Silverstone.

Aprilia have had a difficult 2025 season, with injury issues to Jorge Martin and poor performances on track with their RS-GP.

However, after finishing fourth in the Sprint Race, Bezzecchi was able to benefit in the Grand Prix and take his first win since 2023.

"It is super emotional for Marco and us," Massimo Rivola said after Aprilia took their first win of the 2025 season.

"Especially after a tough first six months with the injuries to Jorge [Martin] and missing the Champion. But it is good to see Marco so fast on our bike.

"I was a bit disappointed yesterday, because when you have that sort of speed, you should be fighting for victories and podiums, not fourth.

"He did a super recovery yesterday from 19th on the first lap to finish in fourth, he was lucky today because of Fabio, but he has been fast all weekend and he deserves this victory."

Rivola went on to discuss how big Bezzecchi's win is for Aprilia as a company and not just the race team.

"I think everything came together in the race and not qualifying," he explained.

"This is a track that our bike suits quite a lot, and Bezzecchi is fast here. That kind of result gives you the boost for the company to keep pushing during the tough moments that we have experienced."

He finally added that he believes Martin will be able to win on the RS-GP when he returns from injury later this season.

"It means that we have won in the past with Maverick, with Aleix, and now we win with Marco," Rivola stated.

"We will try to have Jorge back on track with us, because we are sure that he can win with us. Let's see what is going on."
