Diogo Moreira has confirmed that his focus remains on the Moto2 World Championship and he is not searching for a MotoGP ride.
After claiming back-to-back podiums at the British and Aragon Grand Prix, Diogo Moreira's name has been linked with a potential move to the MotoGP class.
His Moto2 rival, Manuel Gonzalez, was able to test the Trackhouse Racing Aprilia RS-GP on Monday at the Aragon Test.
However, the Brazilian rider has admitted that he is not eyeing a move to the MotoGP class at this point of the season and is fully focused on the Moto2 Championship.
"I'm focused on Moto2, and I'm enjoying the way things are going for me here at the moment," Moreira stated after finishing second at the Aragon Grand Prix.
"We still have a lot of work to do if we want to maintain this momentum. That's why I'm not interested in MotoGP at all right now!"
After eight races in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, Moreira is sitting third in the Moto2 World Championship.
The 21-year-old is 28 points behind Gonzalez and Canet in the standings and has established himself as a genuine title contender.
"For now, we have to keep going like this," he said about a potential Moto2 title challenge.
"Because there are still many races left until the end of the season! We have to drive each one like we did last time, without making any mistakes."
