Results from the second day of the Jerez WorldSBK test on 22 January 2026 as of 18:00 local time.
Nicolo Bulega set the fastest time of the day and of the test as track conditions improved somewhat in the afternoon on Thursday following all-day rain on day one and wet weather on Thursday morning, too. Still, his 1:39.331 was almost three seconds slower than what he managed in Superpole last October, indicating that track conditions remained far from perfect even at their best on day two.
Five other riders made it into the 1:39s on Thursday: Alex Lowes, Xavi Vierge, Sam Lowes, Michael van der Mark, and Iker Lecuona.
Jonathan Rea rode again on Thursday after getting his first laps aboard the CBR1000RR-R on Tuesday. He was 10th-fastest with a transponder registered as "HRC Test Rider" but also as #65.
Jake Dixon ended his second WorldSBK test 13th-fastest on the Honda.
