Jorge Martin is keen to get back on board his Aprilia RS-GP after continuing his recovery over the summer break.
After making his second return from injury before the summer break at the Czech Republic Grand Prix at Brno, Jorge Martin is ready to get back underway in Austria.
The reigning MotoGP World Champion has only competed in two Grand Prix weekends so far in the 2025 season due to several injuries that he has sustained during the season.
However, when he returned from injury at Brno, he was able to get himself back inside the top ten as he secured a seventh-place finish in the Grand Prix.
With the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend, Martin will arrive at the circuit in a better physical condition than he was in at the Automotodrom Brno.
"I can’t wait to get to Austria and to get back on the Aprilia," Martin said.
"I worked hard this summer, and it was extremely intense, so I think I’m even more ready than I was in Brno.
"Now the goal is to improve along with the team and to keep getting to know one another, because we still have a lot of season ahead of us. We’ll continue growing together to achieve results as soon as possible."
Martin has happy memories of the Red Bull Ring as he secured his first Moto2 and MotoGP race wins at the circuit in 2020 and 2021.
Since his maiden MotoGP win at the circuit, Martin has featured on two further Grand Prix podiums at the circuit.
