Martin discussed the injuries he has been dealing with after his crash in Malaysia and his training crash while preparing for his initial return.

Finally, he provided a hopeful message that he plans to be in the paddock for the Qatar Grand Prix.

"Hello everyone, I am making this video to give you an update on my injuries," Martin said in a video posted to his social media platforms.

"Honestly, the last few weeks were quite tough, I have been struggling a lot which is why I have not been very active on social media. So, I am sorry to my fans and the people who support me because I think they missed me a bit.

"As you know I had my first injury in Malaysia, after that I was recovering pretty fast. I started to train again and then I had this big impact while training with a supermoto. The impact was really, really heavy, so it was a really difficult time.

"But now I am starting to see a bit more of the light. The most serious injury that I have had is the radius and the scaphoid, on top of that I had four fractures in my left foot, and some muscular injuries on my ribs.

"For sure it was not an easy injury at all, but if there is something that I can say it is that I will give my 100% to be back at my best version. I will give my 100% to learn from my mistakes as I try to do always and I will be back as soon as possible.

"I am working really hard to recover, I don't know when I will be back, for sure I will not be in Austin, but the plan is to be in Qatar. But nothing is certain, so I do not know yet."
