Moto3 Germany, Free Practice One Results | Scott Ogden topped the opening session of the weekend

Scott Ogden and the CIP Green Power squad took top spot on Friday morning in the opening Free Practice session.

In the opening Free Practice session at the Sachsenring, Scott Ogden took the top spot on the timesheets and was 0.127 seconds quicker than the rest of the field at the end of the session.

Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, found himself in second place on the Red Bull KTM Ajo machine. After returning to winning ways at Assen, the Spaniard will be looking to add another win to his name this weekend.

Joe Kelso was inside the top three on Friday morning at the Sachsenring as he ended the morning session in third place and was only 0.039 seconds behind Rueda.

The top Honda rider in the morning session was Taiyo Furusato on the Honda Team Asia machine; he ended the first Practice session in fourth place.

Leopard Racing had a positive morning session with Adrian Fernandez and David Almansa inside the top ten as they ended up in fifth and sixth places.

Angel Piqueras has not featured on a Moto3 podium across the last five Grand Prix weekends. The Spaniard had a positive start to his day, ending up in seventh.

The 2025 season has been a terrible season for Stefano Nepa, but the veteran Italian had a positive start at the Sachsenring as he was in eighth.

Cormac Buchanan and the DENSSI Racing - BOE squad were inside the top ten on Friday morning as they ended up in ninth.

Completing the top ten in Free Practice One was Dennis Foggia on the CFMoto Aspar Team machine.

British rider, Eddie O'Shea, missed out on the top ten in the opening session of the day, but he was in 11th place for the GRYD - MLav Racing squad.
