Moto3 rookie Guido Pini started his weekend at the Balaton Park Circuit at the top of the timesheets in Free Practice One.
In the opening Moto3 Practice session at Balaton Park, it was the Moto3 rookie, Guido Pini, who topped the timesheets for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.
A further 0.265 seconds behind the rookie was the Moto3 veteran, Dennis Foggia, who ended the morning in second place on the CFMoto Aspar Team machine.
Completing the top three was the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi rider of Angel Piqueras, who reignited his Championship challenge last week when he claimed victory in Austria.
David Munoz began his time in Hungary in fourth place and will be targeting a podium this weekend to extend his podium streak from four to five.
The top Honda rider at the end of the first Practice session was the Leopard Racing rider of Adrian Fernandez, who ended the morning in fifth place.
Joe Kelso missed out on the top ten last time out at the Red Bull Ring, but the Australian started his weekend in Hungary in sixth place.
Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, Valentin Perrone, missed out on a podium last time out in Austria, but showed strong pace in the opening session at Balaton Park as he finished in seventh.
The second Honda rider to feature inside the top ten was the second Leopard Racing rider of David Almansa, who started the day in eighth.
Moto3 rookies Alvaro Carpe and Maximo Quiles completed the top ten in Free Practice One as they finished in ninth and tenth places on the timesheets.
British riders Scott Ogden and Eddie O'Shea missed out on the top ten as they finished in 13th and 17th places.
Casey O'Gorman continues to replace Luca Lunetta in the SIC58 Squadra Corse this weekend and he started his time at Balaton Park in 21st.
