Jose Antonio Rueda led the way in the opening Free Practice One Moto3 session, with British rider Scott Ogden in second.
The Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, topped the opening Moto3 session of the weekend as he was 0.724 seconds quicker than the field in Free Practice One.
In second place was British rider, Scott Ogden, the CIP Green Power rider was Rueda's closest challenger in the opening session.
The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad were close behind Ogden, with David Munoz in third and Italian rider Guido Pini in fourth.
Ryusei Yamanaka completed a KTM top-five lockout as he ended the session in fifth place on the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi machine.
The top Honda rider, David Almansa, ended the morning session in sixth place on the Leopard Racing machine, but he was 0.844 seconds behind Rueda.
Dennis Foggia started his home Grand Prix in seventh place in the opening Free Practice One session for the CFMoto Aspar Team.
Alvaro Carpe was 0.915 seconds behind his teammate on the timesheets, but still ended the opening session in eighth.
The second Honda rider inside the top ten was Riccardo Rossi in ninth place on the Rivacold Snipers Team machine.
Completing the top ten was Joel Kelso on the LEVELUP - MTA KTM machine; the Australian rider was 0.955 seconds behind Rueda.
