Moto3 Italy, Practice Results | David Almansa set the pace on Friday, Scott Ogden ended up in sixth

In the final Moto3 session of the day, it was Leopard Racing's David Almansa who set the pace in Practice.

At the end of the first day at the Italian Grand Prix, it was David Almansa who led the way in the Moto3 World Championship..

Behind the Leopard Racing rider was fellow Honda rider Taiyo Furusato from the Honda Team Asia squad.

Ryusei Yamanaka was the top KTM rider on Friday afternoon as he finished in third place on the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi machine.

Australian rider, Joel Kelso, ended the day in fourth place after finishing the morning session in tenth place for the LEVELUP - MTA squad.

Rounding out the top five was Luca Lunetta on the SIC58 Squadra Corse Honda. The Italian ended the day 0.266 seconds behind Almansa at the top of the timesheets.

British rider, Scott Ogden, had a successful first day at Mugello as he started the day in second and ended the day in sixth on the CIP Green Power KTM.

The top Red Bull KTM Ajo rider in the Friday afternoon session was Moto3 rookie, Alvaro Carpe, who ended the day in seventh.

Argentinian rider, Valentin Perrone, had a successful afternoon session as he finished in eighth on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine.

Angel Piqueras made his way into the top ten as he finished in ninth on the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi machine.

Completing the top ten was the Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, after dominating the morning session he dropped back to tenth in the afternoon.
