Moto3 Japan, Qualifying Results | Jose Antonio Rueda secured his fifth pole position of the year

Jose Antonio Rueda will start from pole position at the Japanese Grand Prix after securing his fifth pole position.

The Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, will start the Japanese Grand Prix from Pole Position and showed a clear advantage over the field during the 15-minute Q2 session.

Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, Valentin Perrone, will start from the middle of the front row of the grid after the Argentinian rider qualified in second place on the grid.

Joel Kelso was able to complete the front row of the grid as the Australian rider qualified in third place on the grid for the LEVELUP - MTA squad.

Angel Piqueras has been Rueda's closest challenger throughout the 2025 season, but the Spaniard will have to start in fourth place on Sunday, and his Championship challenge is fading away.

Japanese rider Taiyo Furusato will start his home Grand Prix from the middle of the second row in fifth place.

Rounding out the second row on the grid was the Leopard Racing Honda rider, Adrian Fernandez, who will start from sixth place.

The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider, David Munoz, will start from seventh place at the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday.

Moto3 rookie, Maximo Quiles, will start from the middle of the third row in eighth place on the CFMoto Aspar Team machine.

David Almansa will start from the back of the third row as he qualified in sixth place on the Leopard Racing machine.

Completing the top ten on the grid was the CFMoto Aspar Team rider, Dennis Foggia.

British riders, Eddie O'Shea and Scott Ogden, missed out on the top ten and will start from 19th and 25th places.
